Refurbishment of the Hall and Yvonne Fuller Library floors
The Hall Committee would like to make public their appreciation of the Community
Council’s grant of £2,000 from their Airtricity funds, and also Stirling Council’s
Community Fund grant of £1,000 for Hall floor refurbishment. The badly worn floor
needed sanding and sealing after all the hard wear it had been subjected to. The
work was completed in the quietest period of the year in the first week of August
2011.The result can be seen in the pictures. We also appreciate the provision of
a vacuum/polisher from Stirling Council which will enable the Hall Keepers to maintain
the floor in a good condition much more easily than in the past.
